One of China's largest apparel export companies,Dishang Group has 20,000 employees and serves hundreds of world renowned fashion brands. Operating in nearly 100 countries and regions around the world, the company has data centers in China and Southeast Asia, all kitted out with traditional IT infrastructure based on Lenovo technology. These data centers , located in three different regions, run Dishang Group’s global business systems. To ensure high availability of data and business continuity, the group planned to refresh the three data centers with an active active, distributed architecture.
Starting with the data center in Weihai, China, Dishang Group deployed five Lenovo ThinkAgile HX5520 hyperconverged appliances running Nutanix Enterprise Cloud to replace its existing virtualized environment. With the new hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) platform, Dishang Group benefits from 24/7 availability for key business systems, including its enterprise resource planning, enterprise management system, and warehouse management system applications.
