Located in Shandong Province, Feicheng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine treats 360,000 patients every year. Previously, the hospital ran its key healthcare, laboratory, and patient record and billing systems on 30 separate servers. This sprawling setup took up large amounts of space, was difficult to manage and scale, and locked information up in silos.
To transform its infrastructure, the hospital deployed three Lenovo ThinkAgile HX5520 appliances, with Nutanix Cloud Platform, and two Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 servers. This hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) breaks down data silos, simplifies management tasks, and reduces data center costs.
