Taking control of information flows by unifying document management with a hybrid cloud disk solution from Lenovo.
To support its comprehensive digital transformation program, Chinese automotive giant Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC) recognized a business need to standardize and secure the flow of information across the company. Unifying document management processes was a prerequisite, so JMC worked with Lenovo to build a hybrid cloud network storage platform, managed by a resilient cluster of Lenovo ThinkSystem SR860 and SR650 servers.
The solution gives JMC complete control of file storage and synchronization between cloud and local documents, and enables JMC’s internal departments and external partners to work together seamlessly and securely. Users can even collaborate on documents simultaneously in real time—improving productivity and efficiency across the supply chain.
