Cidari Multi Academy Trust (Cidari MAT) helped reduce barriers to learning and protect teachers’ wellbeing with a Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 (10) device featuring MediaTek Kompanio Ultra and Google AI tools, supported by long-term partner Getech.

St Aidan’s Primary School, part of Cidari MAT, is a Christian school serving children aged 4-11 in Blackburn, England. In a pilot program, St Aidan’s teachers were given access to a Chromebook Plus 14 (10) device and training to enhance the breadth and impact of powerful AI tools, such as Gemini Notebook and Live Translate, used on a day-to-day basis.

This enables teachers to:

• ·       Dedicate more time to direct student engagement
• ·       Communicate more effectively with students who have English as a second language (ESL)
• ·       Safeguard students’ access to and use of AI
• ·       Protect their own wellbeing
